Exploring City Green Roofs

This walk will include three rooftop green roofs as well as other that are more accessible to reach from street level.  On the way we will take in some unusual views of London and learn about the invertebrates and birdlife that make use of the rooftop spaces,  The walk will end at a Thameside roof where refreshments will are available in the setting of the rooftop garden of the Nomura building.

This is a walk for the physically fit as a certain amount of ladder climbing is necessary to access the roofs and some distance between sites means that some brisk walking may be involved.  Suitable footwear is recommended.
