Event Details

This is a guided walk around Kings Cross and including much of the redevelopment project. In the latter half of the twentieth century the 63-acre site to the north of Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations had been mainly left fallow. Developers Argent are working their way through an ambitious plan of shops, residences, offices and public spaces. We’ll see how they are getting on and consider the variety and number of new green spaces open to the public. The walk will take in new sites including The Francis Crick Institute, Granary Square and Lewis Cubitt Park as well as older green spaces such as St Pancras Old Church and the Regents Canal. The tour will be led by Daniel Hausherr who is a newly-qualified Camden tour guide. Daniel is a former employee of the Garden Museum and was recently involved in his tenth exhibition of trees at the Chelsea Flower Show.
