London in Suits: Spades (Gardens of the City of London)

Travel through the City of London on this playing card themed guided walk for the Spades suit. We’ll visit a number of gardens throughout the City in places including churches, ruins and other intriguing places to hear the stories about how they came into being. See a monument to some great civilian heroes, learn the difference between a Doctor and a Surgeon, visit the burial site of a warrior queen and see the church where one of the World’s best-known Christmas Carols was composed by the brothers who would later go on to found a new religious denomination. The final highlight of the walk will be a wonderful view over the Capital as we really do go up in the World!
