Back by popular demand this walk will visit the gardens of Regents Park: Park Square, Park Crescent, Royal College of Physicians Medicinal Garden, Regents Park Allotment Garden, Queen Marys Rose Garden, St Johns Lodge ‘Secret Garden’. Hear about the development of the park over the last 500 years, from its origin as Middlesex Forest to its place today as a popular central London pleasure park. Hear how Henry V111, Charles 1st, Oliver Cromwell, George 1V have all played a part in the story and how the park was used during WW1 and WW2. Find out which Royal Societies were based here and which films, books and authors have featured Regents Park.
